Summary
| Description | The enegy, frequency and wavelength of the radiation which makes up the Electromagnetic Spectrum. The X- and gamma-ray window has been used for diagnostic and therapeutic medical applications for over one hundred years. The NMR window has more recently found application in medicine and uses radio waves in an imaging technique called Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
