Puharich, a physician and military-affiliated researcher, was the primary inventor of V2K mind-control technology, drawing on three previously published works as primary sources.

The book carries the epigraph definition of the word moonstruck — meaning either "dazed with romantic sentiment" or "mentally deranged; crazy" — as a deliberate framing device, arguing that the term precisely describes how Targeted Individuals are perceived by, and deliberately misrepresented to, the general public.

Subject: Henry K. Puharich

Henry Karl Puharich (February 19, 1918 – January 3, 1995), also known as Andrija Puharich, was a neurologist, inventor, and military intelligence professional born in Chicago to a Yugoslavian immigrant family. He is publicly known for works including The Sacred Mushroom: Key to the Door of Eternity and Beyond Telepathy. The book argues that his public persona as a parapsychology researcher served as cover for classified neuroweapon development.

Puharich received his medical education under the US Army's Specialized Training Program at Northwestern University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy (1942) and a medical degree (1946). He is identified in The Stargate Conspiracy as a neurologist. The book documents Puharich's early language and oratory achievements — including winning essay competitions and serving as a sports editor at 18 — as relevant to his later use of linguistic programming in V2K delivery systems, specifically a technique based on Spondaics or Spondee: the decomposition of words into independently deployable accented syllable units for electromagnetic transmission.

His 1942 unpublished paper, Dynamics Theory, is presented as an early articulation of both invasive mind-body control (Part One) and what is now called synthetic telepathy (Part Two), predating his formal military affiliation.

Dr. Samuel Rosen

A New York hearing specialist who conducted vivisection experiments alongside Puharich at a forest barn laboratory in Camden, Maine, beginning circa 1949. Rosen went on to achieve international recognition for the Rosen Stapes Mobilization Surgery. Puharich's parallel research at the same facility focused not on the standard auditory pathway but on what he termed a dormant facial hearing system — a parallel auditory pathway routed through the free nerve endings of the dental nerves, sinuses, and temporomandibular areas, travelling via the trigeminal (V) and facial (VII) nerves, the tympanic plexus, and ultimately the organ of Corti and auditory cortex. A diagram of this two-channel hearing system is documented in Puharich's first patent, US 2,995,633: Means for Aiding Hearing.

Dr. Raymond C. Tibbets

An accomplished inventor and operator of one of only three crystal manufacturing facilities in the United States, located in Camden, Maine. Tibbets had completed classified wartime work for the US Signal Corps, the British Ministry of Supply, and the National Defence Council. His facility produced 50,000 piezoelectric crystals per year — averaging 12/1000ths of an inch in thickness — primarily for hearing aid microphones and radio equipment. Puharich is documented to have learned four concepts at this facility: piezoelectricity, commercial radio and recording equipment, military-grade signal transmission, and the manipulation of crystal material at a molecular level through early thin-film deposition — here described as micro-technology or solid-state fabrication. These concepts are documented in Puharich's second patent, US 3,156,787: Solid State Hearing System, which references RF-resonant crystals including silicon, germanium, carborundum, lead zirconate titanate (PZT), and barium titanate.

Tibbets also invented what is described as the first combination radio and record player — a device the author argues became the functional model for V2K's dual role: transmitting to the target while recording return signal feedback for re-routing back to the victim.

Warren S. McCulloch

A former Northwestern University lecturer, founding father of the cybernetics movement, and founding member of the American Society for Cybernetics. McCulloch chaired a series of conferences under the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation titled Circular Causal and Feedback Mechanisms in Biological and Social Systems — which the author argues constituted the theoretical blueprint for the feedback component of V2K. The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation is described by Milner as "internationally notorious for funding directly or acting as a conduit for US and British funding of discreditable mind control experiments."

McCulloch is identified as a psychiatrist by profession, and the book argues this dual role was structurally significant: as a cyberneticist, he designed the mechanism that produces voice-hearing; as a psychiatrist, he would diagnose the same symptom as schizophrenia, eliminating the possibility of systemic investigation. The book credits McCulloch with a 1948 statement: *"So much for implanted electrodes; they are here to stay. Through them we will record activities in structures heretofore inaccessible, locating the womb of Fancy. Through them we will stimulate, begetting Fancy…"* McCulloch is cited as a leading pioneer of Artificial Intelligence and the author of works including Embodiments of Mind.

Puharich filed a series of patents which the book treats as the documented foundation of V2K technology, each deliberately obscured with misdirecting language and imagery:

The term "V2K" is decoded by the author as follows: "V2" refers to the VII (seventh cranial / facial) nerve; "k" refers to the implanted polymer coupling coefficient deposited on that nerve via Remote Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (R-PECVD) — an invisible aerosol delivery mechanism in which molecular matter self-assembles into solid-state polymers on the facial nervous system of the target without surgical intervention.

The Round Table Foundation

From approximately 1948 to 1958, Puharich operated a private non-profit called the Round Table Foundation of Electrobiology from a residential estate called Warrenton in Glen Cove, Maine. It was publicly described as a paranormal research center, with Puharich conducting experiments with prominent psychics including Eileen Garrett, founder of the Parapsychological Foundation of New York, and later Uri Geller. The book argues the Foundation served as an intelligence front, with psychic subjects serving either as V2K test subjects or as cover for the invention's capabilities — producing psychic-appearing outputs that were in fact technologically induced.

In 1950, New York Times correspondent Arthur Krock visited Warrenton and described Puharich as "one of those pragmatic dreamers who give their lives to wrest from nature secrets which... have improved the physical lot and raised the spiritual contribution of man" — a portrayal the author characterises as part of a deliberate public relations strategy.

Project Moonstruck and the Electromagnetic Mind-Control List

The book reproduces a list of ten major electromagnetic mind-control programs attributed to US government agencies, and argues that Project Moonstruck (1952, CIA) is the institutional designation for Puharich's V2K invention:

"Project Moonstruck, 1952, CIA: Electronic implants in brain and teeth. Targeting: Long range. Implanted during surgery or surreptitiously during abduction. Frequency range: HF–ELF transceiver implants. Purpose: Tracking, mind and behavior control, conditioning, programming, covert operations. Functional Basis: Electronic Stimulation of the Brain (E.S.B.)}"

Other listed programs include Project MKULTRA (1953), MK-DELTA (1960), HAARP (1995), and Project RF Media (1990), attributed variously to the CIA, NSA, USAF, and ONR.

The naming of "Moonstruck" is analysed in the book through the word's second dictionary definition — "mentally deranged; crazy" — as an intentional designation reflecting the program's designed outcome: producing in targets a synthetic psychosis that would be indistinguishable from schizophrenia under psychiatric examination.

The delivery of V2K to the Pentagon occurred on 24 November 1952, when Puharich presented a paper titled An Evaluation of the Possible Usefulness of Extrasensory Perception in Psychological Warfare to the Chief of Psychological Warfare. Following this briefing, he was recommissioned as a Captain in the Medical Corps and deployed to the Edgewood Arsenal in Maryland — headquarters for research into chemical, radiological, and bacteriological warfare — where classified human experimentation (the Edgewood Arsenal human experiments) is documented to have occurred between 1948 and 1975.

The Council of Nine

On 31 December 1952, Puharich hosted a séance at Warrenton at which Indian scholar Dr. D.G. Vinod entered a trance and channelled an entity called "M", spokesman for a collective of nine disembodied intelligences claiming to be the nine deities of ancient Egypt — an episode that became the founding event of the so-called Council of Nine. The book argues Vinod was a V2K subject whose channelled output — described as "a mixture of science and insanity" — was induced and timed by Puharich, with Vinod beginning to speak at exactly 9pm, as though pre-programmed.

The Council of Nine subsequently attracted the attention of politicians, billionaires, and prominent intellectuals, and is identified by authors Picknett and Prince as a central element in the "hijacking of the myths of ancient Egypt" by intelligence entities. The book treats this episode as the genesis of the New Age appropriation of "forbidden history" to provide cultural cover for V2K operations.

Described as an invisible aerosol process in which nano-scale molecular matter is transported on a carrier gas, settles on neural tissue, and self-assembles into solid-state shapes — producing a permanent, undetectable implant without surgery.

Synthetic Telepathy and Psychotronics

The feedback mechanism described by McCulloch is argued to enable not only voice-to-skull delivery to the primary target but also the projection of thoughts into the surrounding community — a phenomenon TI researchers call psychotronics or synthetic telepathy.
