Summary
DescriptionNanoparticles of CdAu.tif
English: SEM image of nanostars CdAu which possess the properties of artificial nitrate reductase. Nanoparticles were obtained by the chemical reduction of inorganic salts by the of sodium borohydride as a reducing agent. The obtained nanoparticles were used by us to construct an amperometric biosensor for the analysis of trinitrotoluene in soils. The morphology and size of nanoparticles was estimated by the use of Scanning Electron Microscope FEI Nova NanoSEM 450 (Warsaw, Poland). Magnification 26192x. The estimated size of nanoparticles is 3 µm. The nanoparticles were deposited on a silicon substrate.
